Wamego Tulip Festival

Sunday after church and when our company left, we took the kids over to Wamego to check out the beautiful tulips and the festival that was taking place. The kids had a great time playing on the playground, munching on kettle corn, slurping their snowcones, and bouncing in the bounce houses. It was a perfect day and a great way to end our weekend.

Thayer's Bowling Party.

We celebrated Thayer's birthday this past Saturday and had a blast bowling. He couldn't get enough and I don't think the other kids did either. Once again the cake was amazing and beyond anything I had envisioned. Thank you Alison, you are so creative.

Celebratory Ice Cream.

Birthday Boy.

Thayer turned 3 on Monday. We went to Baskin Robbins for a scoop of ice cream to celebrate and Linley let him open his presents from her. He is beyond excited for his official party this Saturday with friends and family. His obsessions right now are motorcycles, 4wheelers, dirt bikes, puzzles and pestering his big sister:) I look forward to seeing him grow this next year when he starts preschool. Both he and Linley amaze me every day. Happy Birthday Thayer, our not so little boy.

Easter Sunday.

1 more year before the big 3-0!

Oh the seriousness on my part:) I celebrated my 29th birthday Saturday with my wonderful family. Kip bought me some great plants to spruce up our front yard and with the help of his brother, Doug it turned out fabulous. This upcoming year will prove to be the most challenging for us; I embark on my dental hygiene career and both Linley and Thayer will be in school.

UCC Easter egg hunt.

Our church had a great Easter egg hunt on Saturday and the kids enjoyed some candy before we headed off in search of some new plants for our front yard.
