Fair fun.

Friday night we ventured to the Riley County Fair and needless to say the kids had a blast. Linley's favorite ride was the Super Slide and Thayer stayed with the motorcycles and cars. Of course we had to enjoy a tasty funnel cake and homemade limeades which made our trip complete. Saturday we came back for the rodeo and just a few rides. We ran into quite a few friends both nights and the kids were able to have someone ride the rides with them.

Soccer week.

The kids were involved in a soccer camp this past week and it didn't quite pan out the way Kip and I envisioned. Linley was the only one that participated and even at that she was pretty hit and miss. Friday was world cup day so the kids dressed up and so did the coaches. The coaches were amazing with the kids and had some great activites/games to teach the fundamentals of soccer in just a week. Despite the hot, humid weather the kids were troopers. We'll see if they are up to it next year, I just hope Kip and I are up to it again:)

4th of July Festivities.

Despite the rainy weather we still enjoyed the festivities for 4th of July. Starting the day off with some carnival rides in Wamego followed by lunch with our friends, the Dunlaps, and ending our night with Thunder over Manhattan with some other friends, Scott and Jessa.
