Guys weekend

Kip and Thayer embarked on a camping trip this past Thursday in Mountain Home, AR...a 9 hr drive in the car. They were joined by a few other close family members. Thayer enjoyed throwing rocks in the river, playing football with his uncles, and being with the guys. It looks like they had a great time and are geared up to do it again soon...maybe not 9 hrs in the car:) Linley and I headed to KC for a girls weekend and did some shopping, helped Aunt Ali with wedding invites, explored Deanna Rose, a goose to followed us all the way to my parents house from the park. We had a lot of fun, and it was enjoyable to devote all my time to her. Unfortunately Kip took our digital camera, so I don't have any pics from our trip.

Birthday parties, cupcakes, laughter...

Our weekend was full of birthday celebrations! Saturday we helped our good friends, the Dunlaps, celebrate their daughter Madison's 1st birthday. The weather was beautiful and the kids had a blast eating delicious cupcakes. She was absolutely adorable. Sunday, we celebrated Thayer's 2nd birthday. Mater and McQueen took centerstage on the cake and cupcakes. We had great company, yummy food, and tons of fun. Thanks to all who came:)

Happy Easter!

"A Name?"

Thayer's new thing is to ask what everything/everyone's name is. Thus he got stumped on one of the cars' name and was asking Papa for help. Sorry it's sideways, I couldn't get it fixed.

Thayer turned 2

Easter weekend

We celebrated Easter weekend in Fort Scott with my family. The kids had an easter egg hunt, colored eggs and were lucky to spend time with all of my sisters. While we were back we celebrated both Thayer and my dad's birthday. They happen to have the same birthday:) The weather was perfect for the bday party and Thayer got some pretty good gifts as well.

Our Weekend

Last Friday was my 28th bday. Thursday, Kip and I ate dinner at Houlihan's and enjoyed some yummy donut holes along with a huge long island iced tea!! Friday I enjoyed lunch with my good friend Erin at RockaBelly and then spent the rest of the day with my family. Saturday my good friend Shandy and I headed to Twisted Apple for nose piercings. My friend Jamie joined us for moral support and in case either of us chickened out:) It was definately not as bad as I envisioned and was less painful than when I got my belly pierced and both of my labors. We ended the night at Kite's for a big bday party for 2 of my brother in laws and myself. I have to say I am not where I thought I would be at 28 but I wouldn't change a thing.
