Back to school.

Headed to school.
Thayer made sure his big sis made it to school.
She is full of sass.
2nd year of preschool is in full swing now and Linley didn't miss a beat. She is one of the few who returned to Stonehouse this year and was a bit nervous to meet new friends. Fortunately our social butterfly didn't have any trouble. I think Thayer will miss his playmate, but he'll get to follow in her path next year at Stonehouse.

Linley's Disney Adventure

Need some honey?
Chatting w Tinker Bell
Not so sure about Aladdin
How about them ears?
Posing in front of Peter Pan ride
Princess Aurora(stop #2)
Makeup done at the Princess Fair
Linley's 1st photo op w fairy godmother
Her favorite princess of all
Today we ventured to Disneyland while visiting my sister Meg and her husband in Anaheim. It was definately an adventure, not sure I fully prepared myself. Lots of stops, waiting in long lines, endless people, yet in the end tons of smiles from Linley. Unfortunately she didn't get to meet Belle or Ariel, but that didn't seem to matter. Purchased "Mickey Ears" for both her and Thayer which they'll get to keep for years to come (embroidered with their names). I think I will wait a few years to come back to Disney and this time with Kip and Thayer.

Freshly painted.

We recently redid our bathroom shower, which made our then offwhite paint look very dirty. Thus I took on the task this weekend of painting. The walls are now a nice shade of gray and look pretty good against the white shower/tub. Now all that's left is to tile the floor and change out the light fixture...in about 2 months that is. Linley stayed out at Grandma Carol's while Kip took Thayer to put put; which left me home alone with a cold beer and a paint roller. I finished Sunday morning and am happy with the color. I have however noticed our dingy hall walls...might need to add that to my list:)

Wedding #3

My sister, Megan, got married this past Saturday in my hometown of Fort Scott. Linley and Thayer were once again ringbearer and flowergirl...they exceeded all of our expectations and were absolutely adorable walking together. Kip and I were able to enjoy ourselves immensely and the kiddos danced the night away(literally). We are completely exhausted, but it was all worth it. The wedding was beautiful and I am thrilled to say we only have one more wedding to attend this summer!! In less than 2 weeks Linley, my sister Maeci, and I will be flying to Cali to visit Megan and her husband Adam. Disneyland better watch out:)
